Joe Montague
Hi, my name is Joe Montague. I’m a San Diego native, from Santee to be exact. I’m currently a senior at San Diego State University studying Sociology and Spanish, working part-time at Cali Comfort Bar & Restaurant in Spring Valley, and interning here in El Cajon with the CSA San Diego! I wanted to intern here because one of my Sociology professors is conducting research within the Latino community in San Diego in collaboration with the CSA, and it was the perfect opportunity to utilize everything I’ve learned in both of my majors, as well as be active within the community. Here at CSA, I work mainly at the front desk taking calls, doing intake information on our Spanish-speaking clients, translating various documents and helping out our brilliant but busy director Estela with anything she might need.

Elizabeth Nelson
My name is Elizabeth Nelson. I am in my fourth year of studies at San Diego State University with a major in International Security and Conflict Resolution and a minor in Anthropology. I plan to attend University of Washington to receive a masters in Public Administration. I have a strong interest in non-profits and hope working with one will someday be my career. I found CSA on the internet and immediately was interested in what they do. During my internship I have helped to edit the new CSA website and have gained a better understanding of CSA and what they do to help people.
