Tenant-Landlord Mediation Service
In addition to the anti-discrimination work we do with fair housing clients, we also assist tenants and landlords to resolve disagreements that are not necessarily based on discrimination.
Tenants and landlords join in a business arrangement with each side often having different interests.
Landlords want to make a profit from the property and wish to maintain the property in good condition. Their interest in tenant’s needs may vary greatly. Tenants have specific responsibilities.
Tenants are interested in low cost housing and their interest in the needs of the landlord also may vary greatly.
Through our conciliation and mediation services we attempt to get these parties to work together to resolve issues fairly. We will work with you to assess your situation, develop a plan of action, and/or connect you to the resources you need.
CSA has contracts to provide tenant/landlord mediation to the following communties:
| City of Carlsbad | City of La Mesa |
| City of El Cajon | City of Santee |
In addition, and as a partner of North County Lifeline Housing Collaborative we serve the unincorporated communities of San Diego County east of I-15, from the Riverside County border south to the 94 Hwy.
